  1. Another wonderful collection of characters you’ve created in the WordToon Giggle. I especially like how you elaborated the characters in the pair “gg.” Most amazing though is how you squeezed the entire character into the dot of the “i.” I like how it draws in my attention so I am curious about that little fellow. I ask myself is he patting the leading “g” on the back as they both giggle together? It is a whole little community in this expression. What if there were Puntoon characters huddled around a seismograph living next door and noticing the “giggle tremor” confounding their instruments. They would be scratching their heads in wonder at the “seismogiggle.”

    1. George,
Your observations were spot on! I enjoyed. Especially the dot guy. Yes, he was enjoying a giggle with g. I’m glad you enjoyed the toon. As to your follow=on idea. I need to ponder it. Toon ideas sometimes require thought as well as trial and error to see if they work. Of course the same is true for my WordToons. Some turn out OK — and some won’t . Join the club,

      1. That’s okay, because my imaginary scenario in my head was satisfying on its own. It proves how art can take you to new places in thought creativity. After all, you know Tibetan monks create beautiful sand paintings and at the end return the sand back to the river, the mother earth from which it came.

        1. Well done! I like your thought that anyone can create mental art. And the backup of that idea is illustrated with monk’s sand painting.
Also, I loved your new word, seismogiggle. I made me smile!

        2. And those monks had the fun/joy of creating a personal image. The value is in the journey. Just like doodling WordToons. Anyone can have a “monk” experience!

  2. Mack, I’ve known you for a long time and have always enjoyed your work. Now I have a new way of seeing them.
